Anyone you know who earns less than 80% of the Area Median Income(AMI), could benefit from affordable housing. Area Median Income, commonly referred to as "AMI," is a federal calculation based on census data from every geographic area. This number is used as the basis for "affordable housing".

In Denver, the current AMI is $63,000 for a one-person household. 80% AMI for a one-person household is $50,350
